Freshers met at the CHMSU Parade Ground to learn about the various types of component orientation for the National Service Training Program (NSTP). The esteemed NSTP Director, MAJ ESTHER LEAH S MACATIMPAG PA (RES), faculty members, and ROTC instructors were introduced.

The Director, MAJ MACATIMPAG, highlighted the distinctions between the three key components of the National Service Training Program (NSTP): Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), which focuses on community service and civic responsibility; Literacy Training Service (LTS), aimed at promoting literacy and education in communities; and Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), which emphasizes military training and national defense preparedness.
